My father and I had the experience of a lifetime with Captain Ed! Not only did he have an awesome "my boat is your boat" mentality that made us feel welcome and relaxed, but he also put us on some epic tarpon! This trip was for my father's 60th birthday. He has wanted to catch a tarpon his entire life, and thanks to Captain Ed he caught 4 in a day and a half, including one up above the 170lb mark. Captain Ed really made us part of the hunt for these fish which made the experience all the more enjoyable, especially since we wound up hooking and landing a total of 7 tarpon in the day and a half we spent on the water. As a couple of bass fishermen from Michigan my father and I had a million questions about tarpon fishing, and Captain Ed answered all of them with a smile. It was easy to get to the launch he used, he had ice and water for us on the boat and his fishing gear was all well kept and easy to use. Captain Ed also calmly handled the chaos that other boats can create while tarpon fishing several times. My father's first tarpon ever could have easily been lost because of another boat if Captain Ed hadn't reacted so quickly. Even if we hadn't done so well fishing the experience would have still been top notch in my book. My father and I both left extremely satisfied with our trip, with memories that we will be able to share for a lifetime, and feeling like we got to fish with a friend instead of a guide. We couldn't have asked for more. I will be recommending Captain Ed/Wicked Hooks Fishing to anyone that asks.

Great time, highly recommend! Captain Ed put us on the fish, worked hard to land our catch- can’t wait to book for next year!

Captain Edward did an excellent job of putting me on tons of fish. He was very friendly, full of knowledge, and gave me every chance to catch all the fish I wanted. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to catch fish and have a blast doing it. I cannot wait till my next trip in a couple months.

Capt. Ed is one of the most professional captains I have ever fished with and I have fish with a lot. He is absolutely one of the best tarpon fisherman in Florida. I promise he will work his hardest to fulfill your dream of catching a tarpon!

If it’s an unforgettable Tarpon trip you are looking for then Captain Ed of Wicked Hooks is who you need. I have taken over four 2 day trips and each experience has be amazing. Captain Ed shows his experience by putting you on multiple schools throughout the day. And he doesn’t stop until you have had the tarpon fight of a lifetime. One trip I took my 9 year old and it made his day to feel the power of a tarpon. Already have my dates planned in June and July this year and can’t wait!! You won’t regret choosing Wicked Hooks as your charter!

My husband and I have done two charters with Wicked Hooks over the last few years and we will be back for more!! Captain Ed is very knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and you can tell he genuinely loves his job. Fishing can be a luck of the day event, but Capt Ed found good spots for us to have our best chance to catch fish and We sure did! My husband and I were catching so many redfish that it quickly became a big competition of who caught the most and who snagged the biggest one [that would be me :)]. We definitely had a great time, and cannot wait to get back to Florida for another round with this charter!
I recommend Wicked Hooks to EVERYONE... Couples, Families, Weekend getaway groups, everyone will enjoy a day on the water with great fishing action!
