Charter Details

Your trip will begin with Captain Ed picking you up at a nearby marina predetermined before your trip. From there you will continue out to the fishing grounds either in the flats for snook, redfish, trout, etc or into the pristine beaches and harbor in search of tarpon and sharks. You have the option of four (4), six (6), eight (8), or twelve (12) hour trips. You can also add more time while on the water if Captain Ed does not have another trip right after your scheduled time. Whether you are the hardcore angler that would like to stay on the water all day and eat lunch on the boat, or if you would rather go to a waterfront marina we can accommodate. It is best to discuss your options prior to getting on the boat so everyone is best prepared.

 What Is Provided?

The captain will provide fishing licenses for all aboard the boat, a cooler with ice and bottled water, all bait and fishing equipment – you are welcome to bring your own gear if you wish.

 What To Bring?

Guests are encouraged to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, any other drinks besides the waters provided, and lunch. However you have the option of eating lunch at one of the fantastic restaurants on the water, this can be decided on the water or before hand while booking your trip.

Local Fish

Tarpon Fishing: Southwest Florida tarpon fishing is world renown to be one of the best destinations to have a chance to hook into one of the mighty “Silver Kings” and is known as the Tarpon Capital of the World! We utilize a wide variety of tactics and techniques to outsmart these intelligent fish, but the most effective way is to stalk them with live bait. The best time of year for Tarpon fishing is April through June, but you can have great days with double digit hook ups all the way through September/October.

Snook Fishing:  Our snook fishing is second to none. From the beaches to the passes to the back country mangroves you can expect to catch many snook in a variety of sizes, from 20 inch juveniles to 40 plus inch breeder females. The preferred method of catching these beautiful fish is to present a live frisky bait, with many of the strikes coming on the surface as your bait tries to run away. These fish are strong fighters and will usually put on an areal show from the time they are hooked.

Redfish Fishing:  Another great fish we love to target on our trips is redfish. They are strong fighting, drag pulling, bulldogs. Like snook, we target these fish all year round with large schools of 50-500 showing up in the spring and fall. There is not much better than hooking into an oversize redfish on light tackle and hearing that drag scream. Double and triple hookups are the norm while fishing these large schools which just adds to the excitement!
